Wow, what a Christmas it’s been here at Arscott Farm! We’re so thrilled to share that this festive season brought more visitors than ever before,
Hello from Arscott Farm! With the school summer holidays in full swing, we invite you and your kids to come and experience all the excitement we have to offer. If you’re looking for things to do in Shrewsbury, our farm has a lot to keep you entertained.
One of our biggest additions this year is the new Strawberry polytunnels. Stretching over a mile, these strawberry plants are conveniently positioned at waist height to spare your backs and knees while picking. The polytunnels also mean you can enjoy our pick-your-own strawberries in any weather, making it a fun activity regardless of the forecast. We’re quite proud of them and are confident they’ll be the most delicious strawberries you’ve ever tasted.
Beyond strawberries, we have our famous Maize Maze, which is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. It’s a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and get delightfully lost in the twists and turns of the maze.
If you need a break or want to savour some treats, we’ve set up a lovely picnic area along with a snack shack offering a variety of hot and cold beverages. Bring your own picnic and enjoy breathtaking views of the scenic Shropshire hills while surrounded by our friendly farm animals. Among the animals, you’ll find long-horn cows, reindeer, and horses, providing a peaceful atmosphere to relax and unwind.
So, whether you’re coming for the delicious strawberries, the intriguing Maize Maze, or simply to enjoy a tranquil day on the farm, we welcome you and your family to Arscott Farm for an unforgettable experience. See you soon!
