Wow, what a Christmas it’s been here at Arscott Farm! We’re so thrilled to share that this festive season brought more visitors than ever before,
Get ready, because pumpkin picking season 2024 is here, and it’s one of the most exciting times of the year in Shrewsbury. At Arscott Farm, we’re all about family fun, and pumpkin picking is the perfect activity to celebrate autumn and Hallowe’en.
This year, our pumpkin patch is bigger and better than ever, spanning across nine acres and boasting a jaw-dropping 100,000 plus pumpkins! From tiny, palm-sized pumpkins to gigantic monsters, we’ve got them all. They’re priced to fit any budget, ranging from just £1 to £15. So slip on your wellies, grab one of our shiny wheelbarrows, and embark on a pumpkin treasure hunt to find your perfect pick.
There’s no need to book and no entrance fee. Just come along and join in the fun!
But wait, there’s more to enjoy during your visit with your family. Our snack shack is open, serving hot drinks and tasty snacks. And here’s the most exciting news: for the first time ever, we’re serving up fresh wood-fired pizzas made right before your eyes. It’s a culinary delight you won’t want to miss.
The pumpkin patch is open from 10am to 5:30pm during the weekend of September 27th, and then every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October. Plus, if you’re wondering what to do with the kids during the half-term break, we’ve got you covered – we’re open all week long!
And the fun doesn’t stop when the sun sets. Look out for upcoming details of “After Dark Pumpkin Picking” events. They are spooky torchlight picking sessions under the Shropshire stars, complete with a fired-up pizza oven and a bar for Saturday night thrills.
